Garden to Table WELCOME YEAR 5!

This term Room 1 and Room 2 are having a turn at our Garden to Table programme.

This week was their first EVER session! There was much excitement! 

In the garden they were busy planting and tending to the seedlings.

In the kitchen they were busy baking fritters and creating an imagination salad. Both went down very well. Yum!

    Your mara kai is thriving HPS! Lovely to see all the tamariki working together & enjoying delicious kai. I think we need to plant some silver beet and kale at Sunnyhills School and get your recipes.
